A Gathering of Gay, Bi and MSM Men
(Men who have sex with men)
Who Desire to Connect and Share
With Other Men
Join us in dialogue, celebration and healing...
a weekend of workshops, heart circles & reflection, addressing the many issues that impact HIV positive and HIV negative men and their relationships to each other, and providing many opportunities to socialize and relax with a large gathering of men.
You are warmly invited to gather with us in focused exploration, bringing your experience, strengths, hopes and longings. Together we will build a strong sense of community and brotherhood, sharing laughter and healing, tears and support, snuggles and snacks, speaking our truths and listening from the heart. As men, we will look into the ways the HIV epidemic affects our relationships with each other and ourselves. From that understanding, we can set our course for the future.
So that we may gather in a strong, cohesive, and focused way, we ask participants to arrive before dinner on Friday and stay through lunch on Monday. That's because each event during the weekend will build upon those previous and will help prepare for the next. Your full engagement and conscious participation will make this gathering a stronger and richer experience not only for yourself, but also for the group. You may be amazed at how deeply your sharing resonates with and heals others.
We have many activities on the agenda. Some of these will include all participants, others will bring together smaller groups of men: opening and closing rituals; heart circles; Body Electric workshop; opening to your playful self; a journey to wholeness, communicating across the sero-status divide; getting in touch with health and healing; discussing the unmentionables (barebacking, drugs and sex, race and sex, etc.); sexuality and spirituality, etc. We will also have free time for conversation, bonding, hiking and relaxation.
